Dream Trip to Macau

Hi guys. I am Jessica Tan as you all should know. The title up there is for me to actually trying to go to Macau. Its one of my dream country to get to travel there but because of the expenses and all, it's kind of hard for me and my boyfriend to go there. But that's not going to be an issue anymore since Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang Malaysia,  is going to be covering all expense paid trip contest to Macau. Weee!

First off on why I would want to go Macau. I would like to visit Ruins of St Paul. Traveling Macau without visiting the Ruins of St Paul literally means not visiting Macau attractions at all. It is one of the most visited Macau attraction.

Another place I would want to visit with all lights is Senado Square.

Another interesting place that I would love to visit will be the fishermans wharf.

I love theme parks! This is definitely another place I would want to go to. Other than theme parks, it also combines dining, shopping, entertainment, accommodation, convention and exhibition facilities in one single location. It is paved with a wave-patterned mosaic colored stones created by the Portuguese.

As for Casino, I would visit Venetian Macau.
It's one of the most largest casino and nowhere else in Asia will you find such a rare combination of facilities, attractions and amenities.

If I have the time, I would like to visit Macau Tower. Just seeing it from a distance its fine unless I would be able to go up.

And last but not least, I surely do not forget to visit City of Dreams.

City of Dreams is a unique integrated resort combining electrifying entertainment, an amazing array of accommodation, regional and international dining, as well as designer brand shopping.

There are more places I would love to visit and do in Macau but because 3D 2N contest, well, it's good enough as I have never been to Macau before but I heard from my friends on how beautiful Macau is, I definitely will find a way to go there.

And finally, I would want to make a shout out to Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang Malaysia! You guys are amazing and thank you for organizing this all expense trip contest. You have no idea how excited you have made me and I wish and pray hard that I could win this trip. Thanks to the organizer and the efforts for this. You are the best!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Bye people.

#NNDialogueintheDark!

Hi to everyone on earth. Here's a little experience I would just like to share with all of you. First of all I would like to thank to Nuffnang and Churp Churp for organizing this spectacular event. It really is fascinating that there's this type of event in Malaysia and I am happy to be apart of it. I will share my experience but I will try to keep it not so much as a spoiler as I don't want to be a spoiler.
Apparently Nuffnang and Churp Churp held a contest and I didn't win it at first. But I was so happy and shocked that they did call me after a winner last minute could not attend the event. I was so stunt when that happen and couldn't believe it although I have no idea what was it actually all about. I brought my boyfriend by the way. It was held at Jaya One and starts right about 5.30pm. I arrived there before 5.00pm way too early. Oh well...
After walking almost the whole of Jaya One, I went back to the place where the event was held and waiting for the announcement to be made. After with 10 minutes or so of waiting, one of the Churp Churp staffs made an announcement and said that we will be divided into groups and take turns to go in group by group. So I was in the 2nd group. Before you go in, you will need to keep all your mobile phones and your bag into the locker that's already provided for you. And in you go. Before you go in, they will be giving you the walking stick where all the blind people uses it as their guide.
Okay, honestly speaking I was really scared to venture into the dark. It really is pitch black and you can't see anything. Not even the person who is near to you. Nothing. All you can see it black like when you close your eyes. Yeah, that kind of black, but with your eyes open. Anyway, in we go. There will be a guide there guiding you where to step and just keep on following her voice and everything will be fine. The whole tour is actually to test and experience your touch and feel things. Apart from touching things and feel, there's also another part where you have to listen and guess where you are. It was really hard for me to find the chair to sit down that time.
My favorite part and looking forward to was towards the end of this whole event. Dine in the dark. What? Yeah I know. Kinda cool ain't it? Eat in the dark without seeing anything. It is challenging but I was really enjoying myself especially the food! We were having a Thai cuisine. Not too sure will it be the same with the other nights. Anyway, after the dine in, apparently, I get to learn something, without sight, it really is hard to live your life normally. We can't even write something on a paper. (We were tested to do that). Anyway, yeah, and at the end, after some games, they revealed everything. Lights started to appear and everyone clapped their hands. And the founder gave a speech along with the other staffs and our guide that guide. Since I won't give any spoilers, I just want to say this. After the experience, my boyfriend was tearing. I saw and heard sniffs nearby and also the girl beside me cried too. It was really emotional. And it really changed my mind set about blind people.
They gave us a postcard at the end and I suppose we're suppose to write what we think about the event. But well, I was too emotional and I just wrote what I felt in that postcard. I really feel sorry after this event and I know for a fact that to whoever can see, hear, feel and taste. As long as you're normal, there's no reason to go and end your life just because you have lost your girlfriend/boyfriend or lost your carrier or because you're broke. As long you can see, hear, feel and taste, you're not disabled and you still have hope to live on compare to those who can't see, hear, feel and taste.
This event is really wonderful. It touched my heart and I'm sure it touched everyones heart on that day. I witness by going there and it is really worth your 2-3 hours time. Get to know it and feel the difference. You'll be amazed on what\'s in store for you. And lastly, again, I would like to thank Nuffnang & Churp Churp for this occasion. Thanks a lot and you guys rock!

Below are some pictures of the event. Didn't get to take much though.
This is our guide that guided us the whole tour. You're amazing.
This dog is the founder's dog. Awww. So cute.
Whoever want's to try it out, I'm not sure what day they held it. But maybe you guys can ask Jaya One 'The School'. It was held there anyway.
